Rapper/Songwriter Carlos Rodgers was born on December 8, 1989 in Chicago Heights, IL. When Carlos was 5 years old, his aunts and uncles use to have family talent shows at grandma's house. Carlos would always sing the same Usher song, "You Make Me Wanna". He wasn't much of a singer, but his dance moves is what won the crowd. The prize was always McDonalds or Chuckee Cheese. When he was 13 years old he started writing songs and recording over cassette tapes. After performing a song that he wrote for his uncle's funeral, his family had decided to let him start performing at local talent shows and open mic shows. During high school a few teachers was amazed by Carlos writing style, and arranged 3 programs that his music would host. On Carlos 18th birthday he had saved enough money to present his own talent show at a well known hotel. That talent show was such a success that Carlos had quit his job and had another talent show 3 months later at the same hotel. The crowd was filled with families, producers, promoters, radio stations, and a lot of up coming artists. After the show all the right things was happening for Carlos, and to him it felt too good to be true. There was radio promotion, comercials, money, jewlry, women, and a lot of shows. A year later Carlos grandmother had passed and his life would never be the same. The death of his grandmother had taken his soul and crushed his heart. After a few months of depression Carlos gave music a break and enrolled into college. 11 months later he recieved his comptia and network certification. After fixing computers for friends and family, Carlos realized that fixing computers could be a career, but music was his passion. Carlos started back writing songs and recording music for himself and other well known artists. Currently Carlos is in the studio recording his album and deciding on contracts.... P.S.
